I’m Theresa—a former high school English teacher who always carried a quiet dream of becoming a photographer. That dream sat on the shelf for years, until the world slowed down in 2020 and I finally gave myself permission to explore it.

 

During that time, I read Dream Big by Bob Goff, and something about his words gave me the courage to take a chance on myself. Buying my very first DSLR camera (a Canon T7i), I began learning everything I could, just to see if the spark was really there. It didn’t take long to find my answer. I fell in love with photography almost instantly, and threw myself into learning, practicing, and growing in any way I could.

 

In October 2020, I booked my very first paid session, and from that moment on, I knew I’d found my place behind the lens.

What started as a leap of faith has grown into a passion-filled career where I get to tell real stories, celebrate meaningful moments, and serve people in a way that feels incredibly fulfilling.

 

These days, I shoot with a Canon R6 Mark II (a bit of a step up from that little T7i!) and bring my heart, creativity, and a teacher’s eye for detail into every session. I’m so grateful for every opportunity to capture life as it unfolds, and even more grateful for the amazing people I get to meet along the way.
